On the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, the city of Benin in Edo State became a powerful symbol of resistance and solidarity as organizations and individuals took to the streets in a 5km awareness walk under the global theme: “Stop Human Trafficking.”

Led by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the walk brought together government agencies, local and international organizations, civil society groups, schools, and individuals who share a common goal to end human trafficking and protect the dignity of every person.

Teasoo Consulting was honoured to be part of this important event. From the vibrant chants of students from vanguard clubs to the determined steps of advocates, the atmosphere reflected a deep sense of urgency and unity. The participation of groups such as the Edo State Migration Agency, IOM, ICMPD, Caritas Nigeria, Girls’ Power Initiative, COSUDOW, JDPCI Uromi, Esangbedo Humanitarian Foundation, Agape Intelligence Martials, India Renaissance, and students from schools like Oba Ewuare Grammar School and AGGS made the walk a strong statement of collective will.

At Teasoo, we remain committed to keep raising awareness, spark dialogue, and support efforts that create safer, more informed communities, especially for the most vulnerable.
Together, we walked. Together, we act. Together, we say: Stop Human Trafficking.
